As interpreted and typed by mama... Spongebob Squarepants journal. Hannah drew a rainbow. Teddy Bears. Spongebob's on. Santa Claus. ABCs journal. (singing the ABC song...I think we're done for today) ;)

Sarah's actually in quite the mood today so I'm having trouble getting her to cooperate. She's 3 now but still experiencing many of the 2 year old residuals. *sigh* God, please let this stage pass quickly. Other than that, she's having a good day though! :) :)

My vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds which can at times be a good thing or a not-so-good thing. One of the not-so-good-things is my overuse of the word 'hey.' Not a nice 'hey' either. A scrunched up face with a mean look and a loud 'hey!' usually aimed at mama or daddy when I don't get my way. My mama doesn't like that very much at all! Then there's 'no!' and 'mine!' and of course there's 'wait, mama!' when mama walks away. Talking is fun! ;)

I've also perfected the art of the temper tantrum. It's mainly for those times when my mama makes me get out of the tub and I'd much rather be IN the tub. (or "bub" as I call it) Mama has quite a time of it trying to get my wet, wiggly and rather slippery body out of the tub whilst I'm in the midst of a tantrum. I'm learning very quickly though that mama's the boss and that it's a much better deal for both of us if I just behave and submit! What can I say?? I'm 20 months going on 2 1/2!!

Today my daddy and big brother Jacob were gone for most of the day so I spent a lot of time with just mama while Jamie and Hannah played together. My mama is fun to snuggle and play with! I played with sissy's new kitchen and her dishes. She shares with me and I like that. We share all of our toys. We even share a room together. Mama calls it the 'girl room.'
We have new chickens! They're babies just like me! I like to peek in on them and 'talk' to them. I call them 'chi-chens.' Mama thinks that's pretty cute. Mama thinks most things about me are cute.
Tonight I was pretty fussy so my daddy held me and rocked me to sleep. Actually he did that last night too and I'm really starting to like it!
Well I'm in my crib and need to go nite-nite now.

I woke up with a nasty head cold this morning around 5:30 am. I was coughing quite a bit so mama brought me into her bed and started to nurse me. I love snuggling with my mama in the mornings but this morning my tummy started to feel sick. Then I threw up all over mama's bed. So she handed me to daddy and then she went in to get the tub or "bub" as I call it, ready. She set me in a nice, warm bubbly bath. I was very happy about that. She cleaned me up and let me play for a few minutes. The she put my pink and white onesie on me with my pink sweatpants and then my snuggly white socks underneath and set me into the girl room to play with my toys and watch Winnie the Pooh. I love Pooh. That made me very happy too! Mama gave me a bottle with water in it because she didn't think my tummy was ready for milk or formula just yet and a few Ritz crackers to help settle things a bit.

Guess what?!? I'm going to be a BIG SISTER!!! My mama told me that next summer I'll have a new baby brother or sister to play with! I can't wait! I feel so big now! My mama hopes it's a boy but I think it would be fun to have a little sister to dress up. I'd like that a lot.

I'm still nursing at night. I'm glad I still have this special time with my mama. She's going to try to tandem nurse my baby brother or sister and I. I think that would be neat! My mama is fun to cuddle with.

I'm not feeling very good today. My tummy is very sick and I just want to snuggle with my mama all day. :-( I don't like being sick AT ALL! I've been sick a lot lately. My mama doesn't know why and it makes her sad. My daddy and my brothers and sister are sick too. At least I'm not throwing up today though!

I also have another tooth! That makes 5 teeth now!! My mama found it last Thursday I think. She's VERY happy about it and so am I! Now I can eat steak, my daddy says! I'm going to go find my mama now and have some more cuddle time! Bye!! :-)

I have a journal now! Yay!!! I just turned 1 a month ago and I'm trying all sorts of new things! I can walk and even run! I share a room with my big sissy Hannah. We're buddies. We like to play together with dollies every day. I also have four teeth now! The two on the bottom came through first and now I have two on the top, on the right side! My mama calls me her "toofy girl" and I think that's silly. :)

I also like to talk and laugh. I especially like to laugh with my daddy. He's SO funny!! My daddy rubs my hand along the whiskers on his cheek and that's the funniest by far! I giggle a lot at that!

I have a big stuffed candy corn that's bigger then I am. My mama and daddy make it "talk" to me and I laugh and laugh! My mama even makes it do flips! It's so funny! Mabe my mama will take a picture of me with my candy corn cuddle buddy sometime.

I have to go eat some lunch and take a nap now. My mama said so. Good-bye!!
